Heliomorphic Housing prototypes new building forms that adapt to solar energy. Rather than just solar panels on a roof, the project uses successive optimization to aggressively sculpt away at common New York City housing blocks, producing a series of domestic typologies that stay cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter, and collect enough energy to power themselves.
